Last year the second annual Paddleboard festival in Vermont drew
in over 500 people to try this exciting, fast-growing sport. This year the 3rd annual event will be even better, bringing together experts, instructors and enthusiasts to celebrate the joy of SUPs! Over 50 different boards will be available along with basic instruction and a fun race at the end of the day.
Your $5 entry fee will be donated to Friends of Waterbury Reservoir, a Vermont non-profit dedicated to preserving water quality and paddling access. Last year, over $1000 was raised for the Friends of the Winooski.
You will also have to show a Vermont State Park pass or pay the $3 day-use fee.
Everyone will get a $10 gift certificate redeemable at
10 am - 4 pm
Demo over 50 paddleboards
from 14 top shapers!
All day long people will swarm the Waterbury Center State Park for Vermont's largest SUP event.
This is a great time for first time SUP paddlers to discover how easy it is to "walk on water."
Experienced SUP paddlers can try the latest hot, new boards to find out if now is the time to upgrade.
The 2014 schedule features a chance to paddle on brand new boards throughout the day.
